Book with me here.

Rachael K. Julstrom, MA, LPC, LCPC (MO, KS, AR) is a Clinically Licensed Professional Counselor of 10 years. She is originally from Fayetteville, Arkansas. A proud graduate of the University of Arkansas with a B.A. in Communication, Rachael still holds onto her southern roots—grounded in faith, family, and a heart for hospitality. Her first love in the counseling world includes meeting people where they are and walking with them through life’s most challenging seasons.

Before entering the counseling field, Rachael worked in Marketing and Digital Media, eventually transitioning into the corporate world. While successful, she began to feel a deeper calling—one rooted in purpose and people. After enrolling in a single counseling course at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, she immediately knew she had found her path.

Rachael completed her Master’s degree in Counseling at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MBTS) and began her clinical training at Clinical Associates, PA in 2015. It was during this time that she discovered a passion for working with individuals navigating complex and acute mental health concerns such as Borderline Personality Disorder and BiPolar I & II.

Today, Rachael specializes in working with young adults (18+) who are dealing with:

  • College transitions and academic stress
  • Dating and relationship challenges
  • Family and peer boundary issues
  • Intense emotional experiences (e.g., anxiety attacks, depressive episodes)
  • Suicidal thoughts and self-harming behaviors

She has advanced training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and is dedicated to helping clients build skills that support emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and lifelong resilience. Rachael is especially passionate about supporting individuals with diagnoses such as Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, and Complex PTSD, as well as co-occurring struggles with anxiety and depression.

Whether you’re navigating a life transition or feeling overwhelmed by intense emotions, Rachael offers a supportive and skill-based approach rooted in compassion, clarity, and hope.
